Gobi Digital Ltd needs the following in order to provide workshop for business customers. This information you give us directly when you register for the workshop. The personal data collected will generally include:

§  contact names (first and last name) and contact details (company name, postal address, telephone and e-mail addresses) for delivery, support and billing. Minimum information that must be provided is name and sufficient information to enable payment to be made. Where contact information is not provided the workshop, attendee may miss out on receiving pre-workshop materials and any changes to the workshop.

§  In certain circumstances Gobi Digital Ltd may collect financial information about Gobi Digital Ltd Clients and end users from third parties to enable Gobi Digital Ltd to assess its risks in granting credit terms. This information is optional, where the information is not provided, services will not be supplied until full payment has been received.

§  In certain circumstances Gobi Digital Ltd may collect information about food allergies and/or food preferences of Gobi Digital Ltd Clients for events where food is served. This information is optional, where an individual has special requirements and chooses not to provide this information in advance the refreshments provided may not be suitable

§  contact names (first) and contact details (e-mail addresses) for delivery. This information is required, where the information is not provided we cannot send you newsletters.

Most of Gobi Digital Ltd use of personal data is necessary to enable it to provide a service to its Clients, including order processing, delivery of service be it (deliverables from services eg workshops and newsletters) as well as for invoicing and to answer general enquiries.

What Processing of Personal Data is done?

This section describes the processing of personal data that Gobi Digital Ltd caries out associated with each of the services it supplies. We have no processing which relates to automated decision making.

Delivery of workshop or Training event for Business Customers

The information is processed for the following purposes:

·       Data will be collected when a Client applies for a workshop. Depending where booking is made data will be processed by Eventbrite or by Gobi Digital Ltd. Data is for invoicing and communicating with the Client concerning the workshop. The basis for this processing is contractual.

·       Data will be used to provide Client with logistics about workshop and any pre-work for workshop as appropriate; answering general enquiries and follow-up. The basis for this processing is contractual.

·       Data will be passed to workshop venue to enable Client to access venue, Information provided to venue will only include name, no contact details. Where venue requires additional contact details Client will provide on arrival. The basis for this processing is contractual.

When the workshop has finished the information will be used to follow-up to ask Client for feedback and post-workshop activities. The basis for this processing is contractual for post-workshop activities and legitimate interest for feedback.

Direct Marketing & Newsletters

Data collected when a Client signs up to receive a regular newsletter / bulletin – data will be processed by Gobi Digital Ltd using mail marketing service. The data will only be used to send out the newsletter and the Client will be able to unsubscribe at any time via mailshots. The basis for this processing is consent.

Website development and management services

Data obtained for the purposes of website development and website maintenance services is used exclusively for these purposes. It is freely given by the customer and securely protected in our internal systems.

IT Managed services

Data obtained for the purposes of IT managed services used exclusively for these purposes. It is freely given by the customer and securely protected in our internal systems.

To Whom Does Gobi Digital Ltd Disclose Personal Data?

We have a Data Protection regime in place to oversee the effective and secure processing of your personal data.

As a general rule,  does not disclose personal data to unaffiliated third parties except where Client consent has been obtained.

No 3rd parties other than those listed below have access to your personal data unless you specifically agreed or the law allows them to do so.

Direct Marketing & Newsletters

Clients who sign up to receive newsletters and marketing emails will have name and email contact information stored in our emailing services. Data is not exported outside EU.

How long does Gobi Digital Ltd retain the Personal Data it Holds?

If the retention period for data is different for different services varies this should be separated highlight where services are different

Gobi Digital Ltd will not keep personal data longer than is necessary, retention periods are defined by policy. The policy is reviewed from time to time to determine whether it is being complied with and is effective.

In general

    §   Data associated with invoicing is retained for 7 years

    §   Contact data is retained for up to 6 months after last Client interaction or agreed date for follow-up.

    §   Data will be deleted within 6 months after users unsubscribe from mailing lists

Exceptions for Service1 where data is held for up to 15 months following completion of activity to remind the Client about the renewal date.

How Does Gobi Digital Ltd Protect the Personal Data it Holds?

3.     Gobi Digital Ltd takes Client confidentiality and security very seriously. Gobi Digital Ltd has implemented appropriate internal security procedures that restrict access to and disclosure of personal data within Gobi Digital Ltd. These procedures will be reviewed from time to time to determine whether they are being complied with and are effective. Where data is shared by 3rd parties they are bound by contract to do the same.
